Mrs Chappell and staff from Grange Lane Infant Academy were delighted to attend the second annual Pride of Rossington Awards on Saturday.
Also, to see this young man, nominated in the category of a child up to the age of 11 years who has done more than is expected of them, win!
Nominated by his teacher for arriving at school every day and greeting staff and his friends with the biggest smile on his face, despite his medical conditions. He is developing communication skills through Makaton and sign language and overcomes any challenges with the cheekiest personality and sense of humour that shines through in everything he does.
Mrs Chappell says he is a wonderful little boy who is kind, caring and been a pleasure to get to know and see grow throughout the year. We were delighted to see him presented with his award by the Major of Doncaster, Ros Jones.
